Set Goals

You can do even better than that: Simply replace the TV experience with more powerful incentives. If your goals are meaningful to you they will be much more powerful than a few minutes of TV fame.

You don't particularly care for sports? Building your dream garden or a business or widening your political interest will effectively keep you from seeking fulfillment in food or destructive habits.
It takes some courage to be open about your ambitions and goals. Dependent on your personality, you can talk about them or keep them close to your heart until you are ready to act. Just keep these plans in your mind, wake up to them in the morning and hold on to them!

Only one line is provided for your goal statements. That is by design. There is
absolutely no space for ifs and buts. Make your strategy very succinct.
The diary provides space to elaborate and report on your experiences. You can drop in images if you like or print out your fully formatted text in color.
The Help section in eSCALE supplies very specific suggestions. The final goals, however, must be
yours, and yours alone. Your goals should create colorful imprints in your imagination.
Keep Records
Keeping records is serious business. You will see huge payoffs for record keeping. A record with numbers and charts has a powerful effect. If your strategy works you see the documentation for it. If your goals need some fine-tuning you will find out before frustration can set in.
The records section in eSCALE offers three distinct spaces to put your data:

eSCALE is set up to make entering data simple. It is done the same way throughout eSCALE. Users of Microsoft's office software will be familiar with the look. There are only two rules to remember: You must fill out every row completely and click the "Update" buttons to save your data.
There are no complicated nutrition data to record, no complex plans to observe. Your knowledge about nutrition and your success strategy will guide you to a lifestyle that works the way you want it to work. Of course, it is your decision whether you want to try out a pre-made diet plan. Personally, I think you will do better when you apply your new insights one by one at a time.
Setting realistic goals is very important. It helps to imagine what consistent resolve will do. Shedding 1 pound per week amounts to 52 pounds per year!

Once you have recorded your data for at least 2 weeks please click on the "See Chart" button. There will be two charts. One shows your progress toward your 3-months goal, the other tells you how many days are left to your 3-months target date and how well you are doing with your goals.
Few complain about a lack of critical input. Negative remarks are just a chance to practice your new sense of control. The easy constructive way to deal with negativity is to say, "I see, Thank you for your advice." Then you follow your plan knowing that your strategy works.
